HOW IT WORKS

How to setup

Manage the box with a phone or tablet
Enjoy total control over your complete mining operation via a mobile app. You can remotely switch the miners, router, network switches, mini pc/screen* and cameras* on and off. Miners can't be switched on and off individually. You have total control anywhere, any time, even in the event of a power blackout (powered by UPS).
All operations and functionalities of the box can be accessed and controlled through the control panel inside the box and the mobile app on your phone.

Heavy noise reducing double wall enclousure
As you probably know, mining machines produce a lot of noise. As far as home mining is concerned, it is almost impossible without some form of soundproofing in your space. ASICMINERBOX is constructed with a double wall using soundproofed material.
Additionally, insulated hoses also reduce noise. We recommend using insulated hoses on both sides (air input/output) to lower noise levels.

Minimal dust, minimal maintenance, industrial grade filters
One primary reason machines break down is due to dust and waste that blow into the hashboards. Some miners barely shut them down and try to clean them in various ways, while others never clean them. In both cases, there is a risk. The dust acts as an insulating material, so heat is unable to be distributed away from the hashboards. Often, the boards burn, or their performance drops significantly. In our design, this problem is 100% solved. The air entering the machines' operating zone passes through a large area of very dense filters that do not transfer any dust into the operating zone. In this way, you rarely have to clean the machines.
You will need to clean the filters with plain water once a month or every 40 days, depending on the purity of the air in your area. The filters are easy to remove and simple to clean - done with water pressure. After cleaning (within 5 minutes), wait for them to dry and put them back in the box. We recommend you turn off the machines for as long as the filters are removed.
Very important: do not forget to clean the filters, because, after a long time of being dirty, they might clog and not allow enough air to enter the machines. Cleaned filters are essential in our design, and you must pay attention to them appropriately. If you break or tear a filter, we can resend you a new one upon request.
Auto-mode using
3 temperature sensors
Carefree mining - Three temperature sensors are located in the box to monitor your operation temperature in real time. The miners run as long as the temperatures stay under the set limits (adjustable temp settings). All miners (or a few) will automatically turn off when the turn-off limits are triggered. The miners will also turn back on automatically as soon as the temperature drops and triggers the turn-on mode.
INPUT AIR TEMP SENSOR - When the temperature starts rising (during the summer months), and the miners reach the hot range, two or four miners (depending box model) turn off to keep the other miners operational. The miners will also turn back on automatically as soon as the temperature drops, triggering the turn-on mode. So during the year's hot season, by adjusting the temp limits correctly, you can operate with 2-4 fewer miners instead of turning off all miners. The miners that could be turned off due to high temperatures have an air vent flap cover to avoid hot air moving back from the hot air zone to the cold air zone.
AMBIENT AIR TEMP SENSOR - Monitoring the temperature of the environment in which the box is placed. All miners will automatically turn on/off, and the whole system powers down if something occurs, resulting in a temperature rise (e.g. a fire).
OUTPUT AIR TEMP SENSOR - When the output air rises and the miners reach the hot range, all miners will turn off automatically. The miners will also turn back on automatically as soon as the temperature drops, triggering the turn-on mode.

Voltage protection or power fluctuation
As you know, miners are sensitive machines in terms of power supply. There are two additional levels of protection in our box - a 3-phase voltage control relay and a delay regulator - resulting in 100% safety for your miners.
1. Protect your miners from Over or Under Voltage with a voltage monitor that shuts off the miners and keeps them closed for the duration of any problem.
2. Protect your miners from power fluctuation. If your provider makes quick power outages, your miners stay off until the problem is solved and turn on after an extra delay to avoid continuous switching on/off in a short period.
Electrical distribution panel in the box
No electrical distribution is needed in your home/facility. Simply connect power to the box (3 phase). Everything else is already in the box, as it comes with its own wires, electrocution protections and breakers. For the safety of the miners, we also built in a 3-phase voltage control relay and a delay regulator to protect the machines from any power-related issues.
Important: Contact an electrician for a proper power connection. It's important to use correct-sized breakers (3x63A or 80A, depending on the model) and power cables (25² or 35mm² , depending on the model).
For detailed electrical information, refer to the technical specifications of each model.

UPS power back up
Stay connected with your box after a power failure with a built-in UPS backup power system. If the power goes off or there is a short circuit, for example, and the box turns off, you can still enjoy remote access. The router, network switches, led lights and even the mini pc/screen* and cameras* you have in your space will remain powered.
The UPS powers all control and monitoring systems so we can always maintain a complete picture of what is happening in the area where the box is placed. The box will also turn back on automatically as soon as the box receives stable power to turn on the miners.

Negative pressure
The idea behind the whole box operation is that we create negative pressure due to our airtight design. The miners (operating as one big fan), having nowhere else to suck air, create negative pressure inside the box, resulting in a considerable inflow of air. This idea has multiple advantages: super efficient energy, noise and temperature management. Exhaust fans aren't required.

Anti-vibration feet
The whole construction is mounted on six feet with special heavy anti-vibration tires.
Airtight design
The miners operate in a sealed, airtight box. The reason for this is three-fold; firstly, negative pressure is created inside. Secondly, the box has a heavy noise-reducing double wall enclosure and thirdly, the air we want the machines to suck is filtered by special filters placed in the air inlet zone. As a result, the machines operate quietly and with clean air.

Air duct connectors
The box comes with four x 500mm cross-section air duct connectors to connect the air hoses, two for the air inlet and two for the air outlet. You have to connect flexible air hoses, which you will direct to an outside environment, for example, via a window or roof space. We recommend buying 508mm flexible insulated hoses with stone wool, which you can easily find in your local market.
Putting air hoses in the air intake holes is unnecessary unless you want to reduce the noise further. If you connect air intake hoses, you must also direct them to the outside environment. If you don't want to use hoses for air intake, you must have a window open at least 0.5 square meters (for example, a window measuring 1m x 0.5m).
Air vent flap covers
When the temperature starts rising (during the summer months), and the miners reach the hot range, two or four miners (depending box model) turn off to keep the other miners operational. The miners will also turn back on automatically as soon as the temperature drops, triggering the turn-on mode. So during the year's hot season, by adjusting the temp limits correctly, you can operate with 2-4 fewer miners per day instead of turning off all miners. The miners that could be turned off due to high temperatures have an air vent flap cover to avoid hot air moving back from the hot air zone to the cold air zone.

Industrial 5 pole plug and socket
Simply connect power to the box (3 phase). The socket is built in, and you must connect the plug (included) with the power cable.
Important: Contact an electrician for a proper power connection. It is essential to use correct-sized breakers (3x63A or 80A, depending on the model) and power cables (25² or 35mm² , depending on the model).
